Our Speech-Language Pathologist

Karie Marsh, MA, CCC-SLP

Founder, Speech-Language Pathologist

Karie is a nationally certified and California-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with over 12 years of experience working with patients with voice and swallowing disorders in medical settings, including hospitals, acute rehabilitation units, and outpatient settings. She received her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from San Jose State University and her Certification of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). As a continuous learner with great dedication to her field, Karie is a three-time ASHA ACE award recipient for continuing education.

After working in Arizona for several years, primarily in a Level I trauma hospital, Karie decided to return to her hometown of Ventura, California. Upon returning to Ventura, she identified a significant need for improved access to instrumental swallow evaluations in Ventura and the surrounding areas and services focused on evidence-based practice and quality patient outcomes. DH, Fellow SLP

Thank you for the excellent lessons. Your outstanding approach in speech therapy is helping me to project my voice, which is impaired due to early Parkinson’s Disease. I’m learning to project my voice and enjoying our lessons together. It’s also helpful as my wife has a hearing disorder and now can hear me better because of your classes. We highly recommend you to anyone who requires Speech Therapy!
